FAQ

Will I have to pay customs fees or import duties?

International orders may be subject to customs fees, taxes, or duties charged by the destination country. These charges are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the order total. Customs clearance may also cause delivery delays.

Can I cancel my order after placing it?

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to help, but cancellation is not guaranteed once the order has been sent to the warehouse or has started processing. If the order has already shipped or entered processing, you may need to follow the return process.

What happens if my order is damaged, defective, or incorrect?

Please contact us immediately after delivery if your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect. We will review the issue and work with you on the next steps.

Are any items non-returnable?

Yes. Certain items cannot be returned, including custom or personalized products, personal care goods, hazardous materials, sale items, and gift cards. If you are unsure whether your item is eligible, contact us before starting your return.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will let you know whether your refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or credit card company may need additional time to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, contact Sales@BrentonBay.com.

Can I exchange an item?

The fastest way to get a different item or size is to return the original item first. Once your return is accepted, you can place a separate order for the new item.

How do returns work?

To start a return, email Sales@BrentonBay.com within 30 days of receiving your order. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions on where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

What if the item fits differently than expected?

If the item is eligible for return, you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. The item must be unworn or unused, with tags, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. Once the return is accepted, you can place a new order for the size you prefer.

What shipping carriers does Brenton Bay use?

We partner with multiple trusted shipping carriers to provide reliable delivery and tracking for every order. The exact carrier may vary depending on your location, the item ordered, and the shipping route. Once your order ships, your tracking details will show the carrier handling your delivery.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. After processing, delivery usually takes 7-10 business days within the United States and 10-14 business days for international orders. Shipping times may be affected by weather, holidays, customs clearance, or carrier delays.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept American Express, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, JCB, Mastercard, and Visa.

Is my payment and personal information secure?

Yes. Brenton Bay is hosted on Shopify, which provides the secure ecommerce platform used to process orders. Credit card information is encrypted during transfer, and payment details are handled by secure payment processors. Brenton Bay also uses customer information only as needed to process payments, fulfill orders, arrange shipping, manage returns, and provide support.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email. You can use that tracking number to monitor your shipment's progress. Tracking updates may take a short time to appear after the carrier receives the package, so please allow up to 24-48 hours for the tracking link to update.

What should I do if I receive the wrong size?

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you received a size different from what you ordered, contact us immediately at Sales@BrentonBay.com so we can review the issue and help make it right. Some items may arrive with EU or Asian size labels depending on manufacturing origin, but they are matched to the US size selected at checkout.
